At Grandiose, we strive to breed dogs that are sound of mind and body, joys to live with, who are healthy, and who will be cherished members of your family. We breed dogs that have passed the CWCCA recommended health tests (hips, eyes, PRA status) and we generally complete additional health testing above and beyond the recommended on most of our breeding dogs. (to include DM status, BAER hearing tests, elbows, thyroid, etc)

We title our dogs in various activities, including but not limited to AKC Conformation, Obedience/Rally, Herding, Lure Coursing, Trick Dog, Barn Hunt, Herding – and you can find many dogs bred by us all over the country doing just about every dog sport a Cardigan can do. We are proud of all our dogs and what those bred by us have accomplished in the show rings and performance arenas over the years.
Grandiose is based in Wasilla, Alaska.

Jessica Viera has had Corgis in her life since childhood. Jessica grew up racing sleddogs in Alaska, and her Mom’s Pembroke Welsh Corgis were the “house dogs”, and in 1998, they began showing them in AKC Conformation. Jessica had Corgis on and off throughout adulthood as she dabbled in other breeds (mainly Pointers), and kept coming back to these amazing short legged guys. She took the leap into Cardigan Welsh Corgis in 2011 by acquiring “Domino” from Kim of Samhain Cardigans, and the rest, as they say, is history.
