Puppies, week 1

Let me tell you, there is little that is cuter than a puppy. And Cardi puppies are probably near the top of the “cutest puppies EVER” list….and if they are this cute now, lord help me when they are a few weeks older!!

They should be color coded, and as they get bigger, I am working hard to try to keep someone from taking their collars off of them! Much easier to tell who is who in photos when they are wearing their collars!!

Widget at CWCCA Nationals….

Widget was shown in Sweeps and Regular classes at CWCCA Nationals this year….she placed third in her Puppy Sweeps class, and got the gate in her regular class. She showed fabulously. I think I have figured her out a bit on how to keep her happier in the show ring (although, she really does enjoy showing, its the grooming part she cant stand!!)

Domino….

Domi is blowing out all his coat right now, so last night got a warm bath and went on the table so I could use the dryer to get all the loose stuff out…
Not the best groom job in the world, but he sure is a handsome boy regardless!

Puppies!!

On May 25th, we had 5 baby Brindle Cardi boys born via c-section.
Been a little busy since 😉
Sadly, we lost the tiny boy (4 oz…..most were 10 oz at birth) after a few days. The other four boys are gaining weight and growing and getting fat 🙂
Should have eyes in a few days, and then the fun really starts 🙂

Photos to follow….

Locke at APC Nationals 2013

Our baby Locke’s first show was the Pointer National….quite the first show for the baby!

But it was also good – big grassy ring, lots of time to hang out and enjoy himself in the ring, and plenty of exposure to lots of “show stuff”…so a great experience.

No ribbons, but was pretty happy with how the baby boy did.
